Bride Sarah and Groom Louis say 'I Do' at The W Hotel in downtown DC. The ceremony was early in the evening just after a summer storm which made the candles and flower petals that lined the aisle all the more romantic. The bride wore a gorgeous gown by designer Hayley Paige and groom Louis was in a very sharp black tux by Alfa Men's Clothing. The florals were a soft palette of neutrals with gorgeous textural greenery. We loved creating the dramatic floral arch which served as the altar during the ceremony then an amazing backdrop behind the bride and groom's Kings table. It was a night of celebration, lots of laughter, dancing and LOVE! Congrats to this fabulous couple!

The bride loved peaches and navy blue! Vintage Floral Design loved collaborating with the bride and groom as well as their talented wedding planner/designer Amy of Amelia Lawrence Weddings (www.amelialawrenceweddings.com) The florals were filled with fresh peaches, kumquats, apricots, rosemary & mint while mixing in fun textures of Feather Eucalyptus, white Wax flower and peach Hypericum berries. Let’s not forget the opulent and fragrant Free Spirit and Campella garden roses.
The ceremony was held in the beautifully manicured botanical gardens overlooking the Potomac River and the gorgeous reception was held under Oxon Hill’s fabulous tent which offered a romantic elegant dining experience for the bride & groom’s guests. The design for the dinnerware was vintage Cobalt blue and white plates. Vintage Floral Design created gorgeous floral designs of hydrangea, roses and hanging fruit which were showcased in our 1920’s Fenton Milk Glass Compotes. It was a touch of nostalgia which brought rave reviews and comments from everyone attending. We also designed greenery with accents of peach and white blooms down the center of King’s tables along the perimeter of the tent. Every place setting had a fresh peach with a hand calligraphy name card attached. The bride and groom’s favor was a three-legged porcelain pig which symbolizes good fortune and well wishes. It was a lovely personal touch. Vintage Floral Design loved creating this fabulous design for our clients from the flower girl’s crowns to the loose greenery around the dessert table filled with delicious guava turnovers made by Paisley & Fig (www.paisleyfig.com) The bride wore a lovely two piece gown designed by BHLDN (www.bhldn.com)

Our bride Bridgett's middle name is 'Rose', so she set out to incorporate roses throughout her design. She fell in love and purchased English rose fabric which she and her Mom made into runners for the reception tables. This was the inspiration for her wedding...and it came together fantastically! Oh and a few Monarch butterflies debuted as well :)

It was a misty autumn day at River Farm, where Christina and Kyle said "I do". Dewdrops clung to the leaves of that tender garden, where botanical aromas scented a tranquil scene of utter serenity. Our couple gave artistic freedom to create! We loved using unexpected stems with so many unique textures and lines while showcasing these gorgeous blooms in our lovely 1920's Fenton Milk Glass compotes for a truly unique reception that will be remembered. We certainly 'painting Christina and Kyle's vision in flowers...' and it was truly our pleasure!

Love swirled in the soft chill of the air mixed with fragrant tender blooms throughout the lush botanical gardens of Airlie. A bride who said, "I saved my floral designer as the last vendor because my flowers are the most important to me." Her wish was our command! We filled her day with many varieties of colorful tulips (her favorite flower) and aromatic herbs of rosemary & mint. A day that was lovely to gaze upon and 'take in'...in every way! Congrats to this fabulous couple! Amber and Rob we wish you both the absolute best always!

Nicole and Aaron stole my heart from the beginning of the planning process. Their autumn wedding design was classic with a splash of rustic elegance. The groom loves the sport of hunting so we incorporated antlers throughout their reception table design which he absolutely loved. The bride's florals were a palette of ivory, golds and deep reds filled with many interesting bits for texture and interest. We wrapped her bouquet with heirloom handkerchiefs for a sentimental and memorable touch. Their day was positively perfect and one that I will never forget. It was an honor to be a part of this very special day celebrating the love of this fantastic and dear couple!
